About Us
A Home of Hope and Compassion
Every patient deserves care, dignity, and a place to call home during their most difficult times.
Abhayakendram is a registered charitable society under the Kerala Charitable Societies Act, dedicated since 2013 to supporting economically disadvantaged patients travelling to Thiruvananthapuram for cancer treatment and other life-threatening illnesses.
We provide free accommodation and nutritious meals for patients and their caregivers throughout their treatment journey, offering a safe and welcoming home away from home. Through compassionate care, comfort, and essential support, we strive to ease their burdens and help them face each day with dignity and hope.
Officially inaugurated on 9 May 2013 by the former Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Oommen Chandy, Abhayakendram welcomes everyone without discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, or language. Our mission is guided by genuine medical need and a deep belief that no one should have to face illness alone.
